Benefits if you buy the Dragon Touch A1X

Enough Power to Run – At the heart of this tablet is its powerful quad core 1.3GHz processor which enhances the speed at which apps run. It also includes 1GB of system RAM which is plenty of memory for multitasking and 16GB’s of storage. All of this combines to give the Android 5.0 Lollipop plenty of power to excel.

Android 5.0 Lollipop – While many of the other tablets on the market are still shipping with one of the older versions of the Google Android OS, the Dragon Touch A1X Plus comes with the latest version. The all new Android 5.0 Lollipop has all new features including new set of notification controls, lower battery consumption and much quicker launching of apps.

Huge 10.1” Screen – At time that so many of the tablet makers are offering much smaller devices, Dragon Touch announced that its A1X Plus will feature an impressive 10.1” screen. The larger screen means more enjoyable gameplay, viewing of streaming content and not have to scroll in order to read your favorite ebooks. The larger screen will look really great thanks to the higher resolution; 1024×600.

Extreme Connectivity – Dragon Touch engineers did something that was not expected with the A1X, they included a powerful GPS feature that turns it into a portable vehicle navigation system. By connecting to any wireless hotspot or home WiFi to download maps you can run it offline. It also includes the latest in Bluetooth technology allowing it to pair with any Bluetooth enabled device.

Disadvantages if buy the Dragon Touch A1X

Subpar Cameras – While it does include both a front facing and rear facing cameras that means it can be used for both creating videos for sharing on social media and for video chatting. Unfortunately, neither one of the cameras are very good and leave much to be desired when it comes to image quality.

Battery Life – As with any mobile device the battery life is very important, but even having an advanced power management system found inside the Android 5 Lollipop OS, the A1X still does not have comparable battery life to many of the other Android tablets on the market.

Poor Location of Buttons – All of the connectors, power on/off buttons and volume buttons are located on the same side of the tablet. Not only that, but the on off button and volume rocker button are located too close together, this often leads to an accidental power off of the tablet.

The Dragon Touch A1X Plus is decent tablet that has plenty of useful features that you will find on many of the higher end tablets. However, it is definitely one of the best Android tablets under $100.
